The impressive debut from rapper DMX, a very dark album and his best one to date, lyrically it's very good, many tracks like "Damien" are complex and deep, while some like "X Is Coming" are very rough, the album is praised by fans and is considered a hip hop classic.
The production is excellent, dark beats and poetic verses, each song gives a unique feeling and DMX spits hard on every song, even on the very deep track "I Can Feel It" that provides more harmony to the album.
X knows how to entertain with his unique style, not one track sounds alike even though it has some weak points it doesn't disappoint.
