Underground9 Overview:
Immortal Technique's debut album, first it was sold by the rapper during concerts and on the streets, only in 2004 it began to be available in stores.
Revolutionary Vol. 1 is a complex album, only 11 full songs, 1 instrumental and 4 spoken tracks.
Unfortunately it contains a couple of awful songs and some weak tracks, even though IT is lyrically talented he keeps on spitting battling verses through the album and uses complex words that mostly just sound out of place.
One song that amazed the HipHop audience is Dance With The Devil, it's a story about a young man going in the wrong path and destroying himself through a life of crime, the track proves Technique's ability in storytelling and the song is definitely one of the best ones I've heard through the years and it's the main reason i gave this album such rating.
The album is perfect songs along with bad ones, some harmonious production and excellent lyrical content, it took me some time to classify this as a classic but i think that if you appreciate hardcore underground rap youwill love this album.

Flow & Lyrics:
9 /10
Beats: 6 /10

Good review. Fair and perceptive. It's a pretty good album, but he's a much better artist than he gave to show for with his debut.
