Ill Bill is without a doubt lyrically more talented than his younger brother Necro, with this debut he gained significant success that lead him into future collaborations with notorious rappers such as JMT's Vinnie Paz.
Ill Bill is indeed one of the illest artists in the game, in this album his raw lyrics are accompanied by Necro's excellent production.
The album starts with the impressive track "What's Wrong" in which Bill raises questions about his difficult life, the beat on this is my favorite on the album, "Overkill" is a pretty nice song, the hook is very annoying though.
The third song is "The Anatomy Of A School Shooting" in which the rapper shines lyrically, a very nice flow on this track, till the end of the album the songs don't disappoint.
The only bad track is the remix of "Chasing The Dragon", that lyrically is good but the Metal beat is to my opinion terrible.
Ill Bill proves his abilities as a producer on the second AOTP album "Ritual Of Battle" in which he managed to create a very complex beat for "Seven".
