Underground9 Overview:
It's been years since the classic Violent By Design, and through the years JMT never disappointed, once again a near perfect album is released.
This time Vinnie Paz raps about more important subjects and more deep tracks are present, Stoupe is my favourite producer, and this album proves why, the beats are amazing and after 5 full albums he still manages to bring a fresh harmonious sound to the listeners.
Lyrically it's good, Paz raps as a confused U.S soldier in the amazing track "Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story" in which R.A. The Rugged Man lays a perfect verse on the beautiful Stoupe beat.
The album is darker than the previous JMT's ones, unfortunately Paz is becoming too uniform and unlike in his previous work he doesn't manage to shine on every song, but on tracks like "Shadow Business" and "Razorblade Salvation" he comes up with impressive lyrics that in many ways play with the listener's mind.
What i personally hate in Paz's verses is the constant threats and dumb remarks, fortunately in this album he puts aside his ego and focuses on deeper subjects, more than ever on the brilliant song "Black Winter Day" on which both rapper and producer are at their best.
This is easily the best album of 2006.

Flow & Lyrics:
7 /10

Beats: 9 /10

Nice up on the JMT!!! Just letting you know the Megaupload link didn't work. Used the Rapidshare link instead.
