When i listen to a really good album i can't help but think that in a decade it will be considered a classic, this album is easily in the top five this year.
The CunninLynguists is a group composed of rappers Deacon The Villain, Natti and the talented producer Kno, never in their past they disappointed with their albums.
A week earlier i posted this album after a fast listen, once i was done listening to the other big releases this month i started to listen to this album, now i can honestly say that it's my favorite release this year so far.
The main thing that i liked about Dirty Acres is the combination of deep and agressive lyrics with harmonious hooks and perfect beats, Kno is the real star of this album, this is how production work should be.
Rarely i find an album in which i like each track equally, on my first listen i stopped on the first quarter of the album, i started listening to the two short songs "Valley Of Death" and "K.K.K.Y." and i was amazed by the clever lyrics and delivery.
Later i heard the rest of the album, the beautiful "Gun" was my favorite track for days, the guitar play on the track is very amusing, another track i have to mention is "Georgia", the complex work Kno has done on this track is something i can't describe.
Through the album you will find a couple of love songs and some sex referances, i usually hate when a rapper talks about that kind of shit but every song captured me so i can't really complain.
Another quality release from CunninLynguists and one of the best albums of this year.
Flow & Lyrics: 8 /10
